Not really but it adds to the story. If you have played the games and read the books you understand the different characters better imho.

They did say that the patch would retroactively add any lost XP.

She is his true love from the books. The one that siphoned her own life energy to try and save geralt, till ciri saved both.

As for Triss, she helped the lodge trick geralt, yen ran away from the lodge. Also in the books Tris tricks geralt with magic to bed him. Also takes advantage of his amnesia in the first 2 games.

People who haven't read the books actually feel triss is this sweet thing while yennifer is awful.

I read somewhere that they might do that by giving 5xp to quests that gave 0xp before...or something stupid like that.

Nexus is one of the most widely known and trusted modding sites out there. It hosts millions of mods for dozens of games. They've been going at it for almost 20 years. If hosting mods was not authorized, they would have been shut down long ago.

You don't have to worry about them. ;)

I had the game crash on me and had one infinite loading screen yesterday. Both times I just loaded the last autosave and only lost a minute or two.

Funny how I never had a single technical issue the first time I played through the main story and side quests.
 
Nah the Kings gambit infinite loading is broken haha, no reloading fixes it.

There is a reddit thread and projekt red thread regarding the issue.

I had to reload and dodge the quest until it gets fixed in 1.05
