The Witcher (Netflix) - 2019/2020

We finished S2 last night. It was pretty cool - episodes were long and satisfying. Characters pop up everywhere and it may be a little difficult to keep track of who you've seen before and who not, but I would still recommend it.

Working thru it as I get time.

2 episodes? Binge? Rookie...

Side note. Don't you think Gerald portrays an excellent Lan?
 I hadn't watched Season 1...so yeah, a binge

My poor aching head....got to sleep at 03h30 - thank goodness work is quiet today

Yes, he is 10 times better than Lan - Geralt is strong yet able to be vulnerable - Lan is just a wuss

Ah yes that is a proper one. Also easier to remember.
Birds interrupted mine, for both Witcher and Arcane (surprisingly good), but was luckily aver the weekend. I don't think I can cope with a work day afterwards anymore.

Damn they changed a lot from the books. Lost interest after episode 2, I understand that it's an adaptation but changing this much from the original story is hard to watch. Will probably try again sometime during the week
I think they've actually improved the story considerably. The books don't focus on Geralt as much and take some very unnecessary detours along the way. And then there's the absolutely terrible ending...

Excited to see where the series takes things as it takes the best core ideas from the books and run with them.

I'm going to have catch a short kip during the day - going to watch Spiderman tonight too

Finished the 2nd season. They did some strange stuff with Ciri and Yenn this season. I am not really sure why. Strange stuff which would seem very difficult to move forward from.

Really loved S2! The story flows a bit better, the action scenes are awesome and the character development is pretty good. Only issue I may have is that Geralt seems to be the pinnacle of Witchers when compared to the others...would have loved to see Vesemir be a bit more involved and showcase more of his talents as the "eldest".

Only had time for the first two episodes - Daughter arrived yesterday, and said she had bigger all, told her to shutup.

Tried to keep it to one episode a night, and mostly succeeded. They always felt so short, though! It’s so well written and so captivating that I could probably sit through a 2hr episode and not even notice.

Can’t say I was happy with how it ended, because it seemed like the story was just about to really kick off… and there’s no indication of when S3 will be out! I hate that!
