Normally when a team wins the CL their fans go nuts and celebrate while fans of other teams congratulate them etc. But this year it's different. Almost every fan of footie except Real Madrid and Espanyol supporters support Barca because of the fantastic footie they play, while almost every footie fan except Manure fanboys loath Man Utd.

So Barca playing Manure off the pitch to the point their arrogant stars start throwing hiffy fits, sulking and resorting to physical assault in frustration has seen an outbreak of unified celebration the world has never seen before.

Truly a great day for mankind. May the celebrations last for days. Viva

:D:D

FOR DAYS!!!

Wooooooooop Woooooooooooop!!!!!

Im going out for a drink lunch time. This day has been uber awesome so far.

VISCA BARCELONA, VISCA CATALUNYA!!!!!!

What I found funny was before the game how arrogant the manu/englsih fans were that they would win so easily.

Guess they dont watch much football outside of the EPL....

They get other league coeverage in spain and fans are normaly aware of what is happening in the EPL.

Do Barcelona/Spanish fans watch watch much football outside of la Liga?

Just courious.

I watch both leagues. I know of many Barca supporters who watch both leagues.

Last night just proved how ignorant and one dimensional EPL supporters are. Not all, but a good share of them thought that Barca will be shocked with the brilliance of United.

Surely it also has to do with the greater coverage here of EPL games. I mean I know Super Sport show way more EPL games than they do La Liga.

Nah, it didn't do that at all. Hope we meet up in next season's final, if you make it that far. We won't play badly two seasons running.

Media rights. We all know the EPL are the powerhouses in the media.

But that counts for absolutely nothing as we saw last night :D

The reason I think the world is celebrating is because United fans are amongst the most arrogant/spoilt fans around(yah yah I know it's not all of them). They think they have some devine right to win every trophy. They were humiliated last night, and hopefullt teams will take note. Beating United is not as difficult as it seems. That wasn't even a full strength Barca side.

+1 but not all supporters, a couple here and there. I myself know some very humble United supporters.

And why do you think this is the case? Because of the stick we get when we lose. It's a vicious cycle. But we can take it. We are used to winning -we'll be back next year :)

I think it's the case becasue they only supported United because they were winning things. I know of a few guys who "switched" to United when they started winning tghings in the 90's.

And you mite be back next year but it will most likely be another 10 years before you win it again hehe ;)

Fair enough. Glory hunters are something every team has to contend with.

As for not winning again next year...That is what people said last year, and look how close we got :)
