Liverpool would have given us more of a game i feel.

Well in part, I did. Though not in that post specifically... still... I am glad that we were hte only team to give Barca a good run for their money and make them feel as if they earned the trophy. Imagine if they had just run away with it. No matter how much Genius says to the contrary... he would have felt emptier :p
 
I said on the forum that i think the Chelsea defence is better than United's.

Also they have more muscle in midfield with Ballack and Essien.

Hell yes we would have made a game of it ,and i say this proudly we would never have died the slow death like Manure did last night never ever :cool: as we have to much charachter to go down like that :D

One of Rafa's favourite phrases when he holds a press conference when signing a new player is "he has a good mentallity and alot of Charachter" :D

Iniesta would never even be in that position was he playing against Monsternao ;) he would have been on the bench with Sub 29min next to his name :D

congratz to barce, they outplayed united no doubt, and obviously this is something for liver supporters to go on bout like they always do, liver should just sit back and let the big boys do the talking :) , the only way liver can get to any finals is by buying a ticket,now that that's sorted... poor chelsea , feel sorry for them for gettin screwed out the final though, but imo its better barce winning it , it just sucks that 1 of uniteds most poor games of the season had to be against barce, everything went wrong last night, sigh anyway good campaign :) looking forward to transfer season n then next season :D

Its BARCA not Barce.

As said before united never played a "poor" game, they were out-classed and could not match the attacking force of Barca.Any day in the season would have had the same outcome, manu were lucky to get away with only 2-0.

Barca were not called the greatest team in europe whole season for no reason.

like i said before , united were outplayed, no doubt, but united DID have a poor game , ALOT of long balls just didnt find its target, not because of interceptions, but because of sloppy delivery , for eg. the ball going out for line,goal kick or even passing directly to the opposition , yes i know not every ball will be played perfectly but united were just poor last night in that regard, they made much much more mistakes than they usually do, thats just one aspect of the night that went wrong for them...but like i said, no excuses n fact is fact, BARCA deserved to win last night n cap off a brilliant season , congratz !

The opposition were too strong, manu may be able to dictate games against teams like stoke but Barca dominance in the centre of the pitch leaves teams in a daze (Ferguson himself has said this).You talking about a team that has scored over 100 goals in 1 season.

A nice fact about the game.

The highest percentage of completed passes were done by Barca's midfield (top 3), the next highest were by the manu defence.What does that tell you??

Majority of manchester's passing was trying to clear the ball from their own half.:D:D
