$ = R 7.65
£ = R 14.93
€ = R 11.20
Gold = $ 903.35
Oil = $ 94.94

Falling again. But might end stronger than it closed on Friday at least.
 
even if you have market system like reuters or bloomberg there is never one right exchange rate at any time. people will trade around a level. so even if it shows say 7.63 on the bid on screen, you could be quoted 7.6250 or 7.6350 depending on the position the person who is quoting you has.

and then if you are talking about websites it is also dependant on the delay that site has.
 
I have never been a currency trader, where does the trade actually take place ? NewYork ?

If it is , The Americans (eg .cnbc) should have the latest , Isnt it ?

That's why I'm taking my figures from the daily mail from xe.com. No particular reason for choosing this site, but the figures I get is always from 12:00 GMT, so it gives a slightly more accurate view of the flow.

The stronger the rand,the harder Manuel will hit us.
