On the plus side, when I come back to visit South Africa on holiday in 2017, my Euros will go veeeeeeeery far :)

The SO has a substantial amount of Pounds saved up; so when we go back to SA in March it the weekend Rand won't be the enemy for us then.
 
Just hit 21.93 to the GBP - should drop a bit by close of the day but thats quite a high point
 
How would the markets react to the terrorist attacks in Paris, was thinking how you can plan for data from markets but you cannot plan for atrocities like this

Investors tend to pull back from emerging markets when stuff like Paris goes down. But I might be wrong...

Tuesday’s UK CPI results for October

SA Domestic Inflation Rate results for October on Wednesday

Thursday’s Interest Rate Decision from the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) and UK Retail Sales figures for October
 
Would the hold interest rate have any impact on the exchange rate, I know any up would be a positive impact
 
Oh well I bought my pounds just before the rate was announced, I just didn't trust them to do anything logic related
