Prior to the last elections as with pre-election 1994, the minorities were building underground bunkers and hording tinned food and bottled water.
And as post-1994 here we all are going about our daily lives, the sky hasn't fallen and we haven't been chased into the sea.
From previous posts I was first in line to vote ANC in 1994 and the 2 elections thereafter. Unfortunately the ideals of Mandela era have been usurped by greedy thieves and opportunists and they are unlikely to get my vote again lest they revert back to governance for the people and not for the fat cats.

We need to bear in mind that SABC, Denel, Eskom are all relics of the Mbeki era. The massive corruption in the public sector which is now being revealed is not something that just happened overnight.
Yes, there are issues which concern - the Dalai Lama issue where we lost our morals due to Chinese pressure.
Zimbabwe - much the same but then how to you negotiate with a madman.

It's early days , but are we in a better place under Zuma than we were under Mbeki ?
