Theft in Numetro Cinema!

Watched a movie after a long time at a Numetro Cinema.

They played an ad warning people to keep possessions safe at all times.

The graphics of the ad&overall tone implied a theft scenario & not a reminder for forgetful people.

Why are we paying R100 per ticket if they cannot make sure that only paying customers enter the cinema.
 
By the way I don't think Nu metro is doing well.

They played maybe 2 trailers & the remainder were ads.

1 of those ads was encouraging businesses to advertise with Nu Metro.

The other ads were promoting cheaper tickets with their loyalty programs.

and only 1 from outsurance.

Yea i get that im not a dumbo.Arent they suppose to provide a safe environment & have security.

I mostly created this thread so mybb can update their cinema articles & include these scenarios.

I don't work for any any dying cinema.

I am actually happy to see their downfall, they are too expensive & not willing to innovate.

I think it is time more block busters are released on Netflix & the likes of Google movies.
 
Same ad plays in Ster Kinekor. Like the ad says, look after your stuff. So should you.

Came in here thinking you were robbed in the cinema!
Don't think it's a bad thing to have ads like that. It's a dark noisy place with deep seats - easy for things to fall out pockets or for you to be distracted and someone swipe something from you

If you acknowledge a theft element at a cinema what exactly are you doing as a company?

That is what i want mybb to ask them.

Yea, you are running an ad i get that. Is there CCTV installed outside the theatre?
