hello everyone. i want to know if matrix warehouse is a good idea to get them to do thermal pasting for my laptop! my laptop is a Gigabyte core i7 2300Mhz 8 GB Ram DDR3 120 GB SSD 1600x900 laptop. when i play GTA v online my pc switches itself off cause it gets too hot while gaming.

After having to pay R750 just to remove the dust from your system- I will never consider them for anything, to be honest.

Google search for multiple reviews on the paste they sell. Amazon's reviews are always a good start for me.

Do you really think that is your issue? The paste. You can actually do it yourself then you only pay for the new paste

Absolutely a good idea if you aren't comfortable with working on your own devices. They are running a business so of course it is going to cost you money, but at least this way you have a proper recourse should something go wrong.

Jip. If I remember correctly Matrix charges R250 just to book the device in.

They can go fly a kite.

But then again maybe the bloke really can't do it. I've seen a dude entirely unable to disassemble and wire a plug, its sad I tell you.

Wait do you have a desktop and a laptop? Yet you cannot pay for a new GFX card? But you're looking at paying more for Matrix to rip you a new one?

i have put two books in between my laptop so there is air flow... doesn't work still turns itself off after 55 minutes

What heatsink do you have on there. Those old AMD's work best with after market heatsink and fan.
