'They're forming a black DA'

That's pretty much how majority vote works. If you are out-voted you have two choices
1. Suck it up and try again in the next elections
2. Form your own break-away party. That way you'll be assured of being elected.
Lekota has chosen no 2.

Shouldn't democracy mean that you accept the outcome even if it does not favour you?

Would he be starting this party if he was elected?

He has the makings of a dictator, someone who'd do anything to cling to power.

You ANC blokes are really scared of Lekota, aren't you? Branding him a dictator before he's even got his new party off the ground! Why don't you just come out with it and call him a modern-day Hitler?

In fact, why not go all the way and publicly wonder if Mr Lekota was ever implicated in child pornography.

Perhaps you'd like to ask him if he's stopped beating his wife.

The only person desperately clinging to (well, yearning for) power is the man, JZ.

And because you are evidently intellectually challenged (ANC membership card proves it) you are trying to foist every single criticism made against Zuma onto Lekota:

Liberals say Zuma is desperate for power? Hey, we'll accuse Lekota of being desperate for power!

Liberals say Zuma has created a personality cult? Hey, we'll accuse Lekota of trying to create a personality cult!

You know, ANC apologists these days sound very similar to Young-Earth Creationists. It's simply impossible to take them seriously, and you can't help but wonder if their allegiance to their beliefs is just a joke we haven't got yet.

That he resigned, and the content of his letter, showed that he put the party first and not the country - but that is another story.

If Mbeki put the party first, then he would not have run for a 3rd ANC term which people rightfully denied him in Polokwane. But you right, its another topic.

Yes, people have been unhappy about Mbeki before Polokwane but I meant to say, it was Polokwane where they acted on their disapproval of Mbeki.

In 2009, many people will have their say on whether they agree or disagree with Mbeki's removal.

If ANC deemed itself above SA constitution, in your opinion which aspect of our constitution did the ANC go against with respect to Thabo's matter?
ROFL :D :D :D ROFLMFAO :D :D

The average voter is a sheep. They have no idea what politics are all about, and even less idea that there is a definite line between ANC and government.

If Zuma put his party first, he wouldn't have run at all.

And that is a massive problem with politicians and voters alike in this country!
