Hey Guys

Do you prefer thick or thin base pizza?

Sometimes thin is nice if you're peckish, but we've found that thick base tend to last longer.

Of course, with thick base you need to be careful to ensure the base is baked properly as raw dough is not exactly yummy. So - do you prebake thick base before adding the topping and then bake it with the toppings?

Regards

My family & I prefer a thin base. Others I know who like a thick base says it's because it is more filling.

Thin-based is my preference. Wood-fired preferably.

The only thick-based pizza I've ever enjoyed was a Chicago deep-dish, but that is so incredibly loaded with toppings that I don't really consider that a pizza. It's more a hollow bread with cheese and stuff...:D

Thick base by far. A thick base is not for hunger purposes it just flippin' tastes better. A thick base needs to be soft in the center and crunchy crisp on the outside. If a thick base is all around soft then you're doing it wrong.
