Apparently not....! :D Think I should start saving their number as" Space Astronaut". Should make for some interesting complaints in this thread!

Yip, the app uses crowed sourced data from 600 0000 South African users and display's the most widely used and relevant information for that number, I have found it to be very accurate.

So according to you Capitec have now decided to possibly jeopardise their business and become an anc mouthpiece of sorts..? Seriously..?

Forumites have already given you a very viable explanation for why the numbers may be the same but still sent from different sources.

I would think that a Bank that size would have their own SMS numbers to avoid bad publicity like this. I have negotiated a better deal at a alternate Bank in the interim which I wouldn't have bothered to do, so I will be leaving anyway. So whether or not the SMS was from them it is still hurting them.

Very irritating when they choose to trash other parties to gain votes instead of promoting their own values.

I have to wonder what you are trying to achieve with a statement like that because if you are auditioning to be the new drummer boy for the Wagon Band you might want to step it up a notch, not nearly nasty enough!
