The irony is that, in town, there are no fast and slow lanes - no idea why people keep doing this. I just go to the left if it's much shorter.

Cause people are like sheep, same thing happens when you leave the mall through the booms. Everyone decides to only go to the one cause everyone else is as they think the other one is broken then I come up and use it and off I go , then after seeing me do it everyone else comes after me.

I ride solo, being a mountain biker most of the time, however on road rides I like to sit in the middle or back and just do eff-all but coast to the end
When groups break up and regrouping starts I'll do my bit in front at the start of the pace line, but if there are enough riders I get lazy.
My big gripe is I am heavier than most riders and I have a lot of momentum on the downhills, yet I have to keep braking because of the lightweights in front.

I change gears pre-emptively and start pedaling to maintain momentum. Free seed and all that. First lesson you learn when driving a 1967 Beetle: gear down in time, keep the revs up, don't labour the engine.

I am not exactly a lightweight, hollow fibred, bird-boned, whippet lean racing snake, but I am not heavy and overweight either.

Never ever getting the hot nurse to do the needle when I donate blood. Why is it always the old one or the male nurse? Please for once can I have mild semi while I'm pumping blood? Is that so much to ask for? I mean it's not like I take forever - I'm one of the fastest donors around. :wtf:

What irritates me today? My own stinginess!

I have a cheap R400 tubeless MTB tyre with over 4000km one yet I insisted on reusing it after I plugged it (big puncture) and I had to fill it with R100 sealant (twice) in the last 3 days! So I wasted R200 of sealant on an old piece of rubber, and another R100 after putting on a new R400 tubeless tyre. Penny wise, pound foolish.

Yeah haha. I had this situation yesterday, turning left into Jean from Olievenhoutbosh road. At the Afgri robot, 5 cars in a row, left lane empty. Just before I reach it, turns green and I pass them all. It's a bit strange behaviour, like people are absent from what is actually going on on the road.
