Trying to fix bedside lamp. Discovering I inadvertently left the switch on![]()
Did he charge you?or worse, bathroom bulb dies... buys a new one... still dead... fukk it must be the fitting then... waiting 3 weeks before phoning the electrician to come have a look (using a lead light in the mean time).
electrician shows up, tries a different bulb, and it works... the bulb i bought was faulty to begin with

Smokers who never, ever have a light. They will remember their smokes, sure, but never a light. Recently, I've started to tell anyone who asks me for a light to f-off.
Maybe start with a simple "no" first?
Funny you should say that. For some reason, people seem to think the word "no" is a challenge or something for them to persist, or try harder. Hence why I get straight to the point first.
Well, if that was the case with me, I would try the humorous approach first I reckon. Something like "I was banned from possessing any lights at my arson-murder case. Thank god for temporary insanity plea's!"
