That's seriously self-entitled right there, dude, wow. So because other people litter worse, you think it's fine to litter "a little less"? What's next - because other people rape and murder you will just steal and assault, because it's "not so bad"? Your mentality right there is the perfect embodiment of a massive problem, right there. Be the change you want to see in the world.

Well that escalated quickly, even though I didn't say I'll litter a little bit because others litter excessively. Do you also liken placing a cup next to the coaster instead of on the coaster the same as completely destroying the table?

Also note above, I read peoples points and came to a understanding as to why I should't do it, hence I agreed to cease doing so.

No, but imagine if everyone in the world shares a single table, and we all depend on each other to keep the table clean, neat and in a good state. How do you think that table will look if some people scratch on it with a knife? It'll look like ****. It'll look worse though if others go "well, if they're doing that, I guess isn't not so bad if I ignore the coaster and just place my cup next to it".

1 butt isn't a lot. If you smoke a pack a day that's 20 butts. Multiply that by the how many smokers in SA and see the **** pile up - every day. If one person stops, that's a start. If you really intend to stop tossing your butts - thanks. It helps. Now convert others as well.
 
Goddamn rubber-neckers! Stuck on the R27 this morning for ages because everyone was slowing down to look at a cop who'd pulled over a taxi for driving in the bus lane. :mad:
