Humans need to stop throwing fking plastic at the earth. Paper might suck, but what's even stupider is using a piece of plastic for the convenience of getting liquid to your mouth only to throw it away. Drink from the glass.

It doesn't work. The waiter said everyone is complaining and after two minutes it is soggy and useless..... I realise there needs to be an alternative.... but paper it isn't.

Nope. The paper straw comes in paper wrapping. And there is twirly paper around the paper straw..... The worst is when you sip and it taste like..... Paper.

Many people in CPT are jumping on a bandwagon of carrying bamboo or steel straws with them and avoiding places with plastic straws or requesting no straws. One of the better trends to jump on imo.
