Ouch... strange thing biltong... I've brought it into the US a few times and had it confiscated once. Declared it every time.

Idiots ruining the country for everyone, and don't realise they're being played by greedy politicians

That I can't legally bring biltong in my luggage to the UK. :(

Bought some on amazon instead...530zar/kg :/
That's actually not much more than locally...given that it has to be shipped across the world I wouldn't say that's too bad :crylaugh:

People who think that you can't adopt other people's culture or be someone different than your race or background dictates you should without being a 'sell out'. We have too many in this country for sure.

Its strictly verboten...whether you declare it or not doesn't change that. Not doing so you risk criminal charges though - in theory anyway.

Pick & Pay shopper cards

when the guy in front of you in the queue wants to buy some groceries, and then some electricity and then some vodacom airtime, and then they want to withdraw some money, and then they want to deposit some money, and then they want to negotiate the value of the goods they just purchased, and then they want to send some money to their cousin in Timbuktu

End of the month at PnP when there's 10 till points but only 4 tellers so there's obviously a queue.

Effects of Economic slump or greedy management refusing to employ more tellers?

Typed in a hurry, yes I know it's called pooh.

He. FFS! He. The bear is a he.

But his arms were so stiff ... they stayed up straight in the air for more than a week, and whenever a fly came and settled on his nose he had to blow it off. And I think – but I am not sure – that that is why he is always called Pooh.

This heat. My boyfriend sending me a pic of his ice cream after I tell him I'm dying of heat
