Lategan Von Biljoens in Pretoria.
9 July - pay and order a part from them - inner door liner for stove.
10 August - 10 days later than their estimated arrival, part is there. Drive from Centurion to pick up, get home, doesn't fit - not the right part.
12 August, colleague returns it.
15 August - correct new part arrives (miraculously only took 3 days this time, not 5 weeks).
16 August - Colleague brings it for me. Holes fit this time, but it has no hinge brackets.
19 August - drive through myself to sort this for once and for all. Hinge brackets don't come with the door, they say - they tell me I need to verify model number (back of stove), because they seem to not believe I have the stove I stated. Get home, move the stove to get the model number. Same stove model as originally specified.
21 August - they call me. Their Defy "expert" told them I must have sent a pic of the wrong stove. I am like why the **** would I go and take a pic of someone else's bloody stove?! I assure them it's the correct stove, send them more pics of the stove.
Later, I get a mail where their Defy "Expert" replied earlier "Looks like the hinges on this model have changed". First you call me a liar, then you find out your "expertise" was majorly lacking.
22 August (today) - I have to pay R310 for 2 extra hinges, that I know won't fit on my stove as they're completely different - they tried to make them "fit" on the 19th of August when I was there, so I know they're too wide and thick to fit in the stove's hinge holes.
I have requested a refund since they seem too incompetent to find the part I paid for (and now want to modify the wrong door inner, and probably also my stove) to make the wrong part fit.
Definitely won't be doing business with them again.
