Alcohol - gets my head to shut up for a little while

Opposite effect for me.

I remember once think I was like 17 and we all sat in the living room at like 2 in the morning harping on about politics with my dad sleeping in the other room, would love to know what he thought of our conversation

This SAA scenario makes me sad - there is a lot of misunderstanding and the wrong people will suffer the consequences. (not looking to get into a debate, if I wanted to I would have gone to that thread).

The thing that pleases me today is the fee structure that outVest is introducing on RA's and the potential impact it could have on the industry.

It is not going to affect people with existing RAs?

A friend of mine's partner is a pilot for SAA. This is not a good thing to happen.

Avoiding work is currently making me happy

That depends on a lot of factors.

If you're RA is worth more than R300k, then it is worth investigating.

My RA is through my employer, hence I do not have an option to receive the benefits of the lower fees in the short term.

Financial chappie comes and show me an email purported to be from our CEO, asking to pay a supplier.

Email address gave it all away, it is a scam. No monies have been paid yet.

So I told the finances guy to absolutely waste the scammer's time, make up all sorts of excuses and just string him along.
