Things that please you...

Cleaned under our carport this weekend. Looks a lot better, driving out the yard in the morning without that eyesore is pleasing :)

My son got me a "cheap" gaming mouse, for him it was expensive, it was R120 at Cash Crusaders. I've been using at work for the last two weeks and it's been pleasantly surprising. Yes it's a bit plasticky but it actually feels pretty okay in the hand, the thumb buttons are in the right place, the sensor seems decent, much better than the Dell mouse my laptop originally came with and it's got RGB :-) currently just got it scrolling through the colours.

Alcohol - gets my head to shut up for a little while

Opposite effect for me.

I remember once think I was like 17 and we all sat in the living room at like 2 in the morning harping on about politics with my dad sleeping in the other room, would love to know what he thought of our conversation

This SAA scenario makes me sad - there is a lot of misunderstanding and the wrong people will suffer the consequences. (not looking to get into a debate, if I wanted to I would have gone to that thread).

The thing that pleases me today is the fee structure that outVest is introducing on RA's and the potential impact it could have on the industry.

It is not going to affect people with existing RAs?

A friend of mine's partner is a pilot for SAA. This is not a good thing to happen.

Avoiding work is currently making me happy

That depends on a lot of factors.

If you're RA is worth more than R300k, then it is worth investigating.

My RA is through my employer, hence I do not have an option to receive the benefits of the lower fees in the short term.
