I am trying to "be grateful each day" by contributing to this thread with what pleases me, but I am feeling cynical and annoyed today and not coming up with something that pleases me. I try and not just post general things and try to be sincere with what pleases me on that day.

I get that. But even just looking at the sky in the morning, when the sun rises and the patterns the clouds make - sometimes makes me happy. Watching birds play in the water puddles on the side of the road. It doesn't have to be a big thing.

Yesterday for me started of crappy. Got to Grayston offramp at 8. Got into Sandton at almost 9:10. Then the convention parking was full and I had to park in Sandton City. I missed the first session I was booked for. But the rest of the day was awesome ! So great recovery. But my feet ache badly lol - so today is going to be interesting.
