They are old Iscor cast iron window frames with probably 70 layers of paint on, think ill try putting foam strips on to help with the cold for now,

Put a nice round silicone bead in the inside frame and then apply a layer of grease to the window where it contacts the frame, loosen the lock handle a half a turn or so on its nut, close the window and leave to dry, once dry, clean up and re adjust the nut, should have a perfect seal all round.
 
Fresh Earth Food Store in Greenside, Jhb, remembered a week later that my wife did not take her veggie pie. Paid for it but forgot it on the counter. They remembered that incident. Gave her another one in its place.

The store gets to know their customers and they genuinely care. Wow!
 
Done nothing, but got a notification from cellc that I have a voice message.

Punched in 132 and listened - caller was from a hellkom call center and she thought I was on the line.

Message deleted of course. Cold callers at it again.
 
Eating raw, frozen sweetcorn kernels.

I dunno why but I just love the taste. A few inevitably go missing when I boil a cup or two for supper.
 
Old hp SSD in my pc started acting up - hanging on writes, crystal disk mark showed it doing 16MB/sec.

So I bit the bullet and got a Samsung 980 something something.

In traffic this morning the guy next to me had about 7 stacked plastic chairs on his back seat.

Signalled to him to roll his window down, got the expected reluctant gaze as he likely assumed I was going to comment on his driving, gave him a big smile and he rolled down the window.

I said: "You must be the chairman of your company". Laughter erupted on both sides. Turns out he is an accountant :D

Think @Rouxenator would be proud of my joke?
 
Proton VPN upgrading me from the Peasant plan to Unlimited for mahala, didn't even notice.

Just hope they automatically downgrade me after the coupon, not baiting me into paying unlimited.

Finally ordered a new work laptop as my 6.5 year old battle axe is getting more and more frustrating to work with.

My backup fire lighters worked a charm last night, champagne and wine corks that have been soaked in illuminating paraffin.

Our sons latest blood tests came back and his MBL markers are up over 3000 where they were previously below 1000 and we had concerns over immunity issues.
