You can't be serious? How did you mail your bank statements etc, to credit providers when applying for credit before? Don't tell me you first printed them out, then scan them back in? Or worse, take it to them in person? You could have died from Covid-19 bru!

Fnb only relatively recently started encrypting their statements.

Insurance co decided after 22 months nagging to pay for some damaged and unrepairable hearing-aids that had been covered on an All Risks policy. A total of 8 different excuses, 3 months to reply to emails, was never able to speak to intelligent staff (not available, in a meeting, moved from this dept, off sick)

Ins co is Momentum who took over from Alexander Forbes. Claim was R33k

Good to hear

Wish me luck, the dreaded assessor is coming to assess tomorrow

Expecting some lame excuses about being under/over insured, this and that should've been specified, already put me in a foul by hinting they won't pay for stolen phones because I should've blacklisted them with their IMEI/EMIE/MIEM whatever number.

Hahahaha! I did that!!! Have a reference number 'n all!!!! That makes me happy :)

I still get statements for a business I do not run because someone gave them my email address (common name). These are not encrypted. I emailed FNB to let them know and I didn't get anything back from them.
