Things that please you...

Which phone and from where? I got an Xbox game for free cause of a pricing glitch

I got a Honor 10 for the equivalent of R4500 (GBP250) when the price is supposed to be equivalent of R7200 (GBP399) from Argos.co.uk who glitched a 40% offer that was supposed to be added to a memory card if bought with a phone and not to the phone.

Nice similar glitch on the game, it was supposed to be added to the console. Instead I got it for free :)

Taking the mickey out of scammers. So after the initial bit of BS and me feeding him bogus info about me being an unemployed 44 year old in Botswana the scammer wastes no time on the money shot :

Hello beneficiary,

I have received your homes address, How ever, be-informed that the
Sir Seretse Khama International Airport authority here in Botswana, has
demanded for an International Consignment Delivery Permit (ICDP) to be
placed on your consignment box just to proof that your consignment box
is not related to any fraud/money laundering activities,

Note, I have presented all the papers I handed to them and they are
very much pleased with the paper's I presented but the only thing that
is still keeping me here in the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport
is the International Consignment Delivery Permit (ICDP) which is not
placed on the Box, one of the Airport Authority has advise that we get the
Delivery ICDP at their Gaborone Chamber of attorney so that I can exit
the airport immediately and make my delivery to your home address
in;Gaborone/ Botswana,I tried to reason with them and they stated that
the Delivery ICDP will cost us just $155.00 Dollars only to get the
ICDP here in Gaborone Chamber, and then placed it on the Box, then
they will allow the free entry of your consignment to: 92 Robbinson
Avenue, Gaborone.

Be advised that you will have to send the fee direct to attorney's
receiver's agent there in Benin republice, because they are entitle to
obtain the ICDP Copy and send it to me via email attachment.

Looking forward to meet you today.

GET BACK TO ME WITH THE ICDP FEE IN MY EMAIL ASAP

Now I have not done this in a while so I'm a bit rusty and decide to just go at it bluntly, really need to tone it down a bit and string them along for longer.

My best Diplomat Mr James.

You have done an asspounding job thus far. I am very pleased and would
be sure to give my finest recommendations to your superiors. Thank you
once more.

What I am going to tell you next might come as some surprise, but
inside the box is a vast sum of cash, it is $10,000,000 which I have
secured after my dealings with a top level government official based
in Burundi. The money is in unmarked bills that we have carefully
laundered through a 7/11 store over a mater of months. Quite a nifty
achievement.

To get to the money you need to open the package from behind. Be
careful though since the money is hidden between lots of old bloomers,
these act as a camouflage should the parcel go through X-ray scanners.
They are also a erogenous gift from the top level government official
based in Burundi's grandma. Do exercise extreme caution though as I
believe the bloomers to be slightly soiled. Old granny from Burundi
did suffer from slight incontinence dealings.

I trust that with this knowledge you will be able to gain access to
the required funds to clear the box. Please do not take any of the
cash for yourself, neither any of the bloomers. I will meet you at the
Nandos, Cnr Independence Ave & Botswana Rd, Shop 1, Main Mall,
Gaborone, Botswana where I will bestow upon thee a delectable spicy
chicken wing for the troubles you have bravely faced to get my box of
bloomers to me.

Godspeed Mr James.

I thought I had lost him here as that was very crudely executed ones, but no, he's back.

Hello beneficiary,

Your email was received and well understood, Once again there is no deduction on this box do to given
instruction from originated country. and I will advice you to get the required fee sent cause I am getting
tired of been here and need to complete my delivery as instruct. so fill free to comply let's get this
resolve as well today.

Be advised that you will have to send the fee direct to attorney's
receiver's agent there in Benin republic, because they are entitle to
obtain the ICDP Copy and send it to me via email attachment.

Just for s...ts and giggles I give him the final poop.

Hello again Mr James.

As per my previous email, the money you require is present inside the
box. Simpy open it from behind and you will feel the money inside,
carefully hidden between the slightly soiled bloomers. Take only
enough to pay the fee of the officials. I trust they will be happy
with the cash payment you provide them with. You can tell them the
reason for this is because we are unable to pay internationally from
Botswana to Benin.

Let me know when you have found the cash inside the box of bloomers.

Many kind regards,
Mr Moneybags.

At least I wasted a little bit of his time.

Tears for Fears - Pharaohs

It's that kind of day/week/month/year. It's on repeat now till the close of play.

So normally I take the time to help spiders out of my house, but this morning I had a guy, rather big one, in the middle of the living room ceiling. I was a bit late and in a hurry plus the cat was being super annoying around my feet because it wanted food. So I took the fly swatter and *whack*, spidey comes tumbling down, the cat inspects the freshly slaughter prey that master bestowed upon it and proceeds to eat it all up.

Still wanted cat food after that but at least the kill was not wasted.

What broker are you trading on and do they accept non EU residents and have a good coverage of the EU and UK stock markets (no need for US and out of EU as I have IB for that)?

My French one gives me trouble since they discovered I'm not a EU resident anymore and I'm thinking of changing.

huh? Just use IB...they cover all the European markets too, you just need to enable access.

But no I trade exclusively on US and Canadian markets. All my attempts to trade other markets ended badly - liquidity is bad, access to info is bad, data sub prices are high, the spreads are high and nothing interesting happens. So short of some ETFs for diversification no longer interested - and that I can do without market data if need be.

It's actually preferable to be non-EU right now cause brokers are making EU people's lives difficult - blocking access to shares due to lack of some disclosure the EU now required (guessing Mifid2 but not sure)

I like to keep my stocks split between two to spread the risk and be covered by both US and EU guarantees in case of bankruptcy.

Watching it right now.

Usually not fond of nature documentaries but it's quite good so far.

Degiro seems to be the 2nd most popular Euro one

Else TD Intl or IG (limited markets)

Not particularly worried about bankruptcy though. IB's finances look fine (it's listed) and the shares are held in trust anyway.

Until they use customer funds MF Global style. :D

I can't convince myself to trust financial guys, especially CFOs of financial companies! Better safe than sorry, doesn't cost me much in this case.

Thanks, will check. Heard of Saxo too, have to compare them, didn't start my due diligence yet.

And give us a review, would like to know what you think outside of my thinking

Finishing episode 1.

The photography is amazing, actually incredible.

I enjoy Will Smith as the narrator.

My only negative comment is that the storyline spreads a bit too much, lacks a bit of continuity, I don't real get how we get from the start to the end.

Overall, it's one of the very few earth documentaries I've watched entirely like Planet Earth and Home (and I'm not into that at all as I mentioned) so it is remarkable.

Good so far, but continue the show.
There might be some reputation but it is good

The narration from the astronauts makes it so much better
