Things that please you...

Nope, had to choose between two evils, imminent dismissal being the other.
The role far exceeds my capabilities, the two years have taken a heavy toll.
Health deteriorating was played the deciding roll.
Why did you take it? Did they not know and just plan to support you as you grow into the role. Or did you lie?

Transfered due to redundancies from the first lockdown, was working towards it with the plan being after 5 years, instead got it in less than 8 months at which point I was still woefully inexperienced but still gave it my best shot, also leaving on good terms is nice.

Good luck, you will find another job.

If not, there's always trying to sell your body to @HunterNW or @Ockie

Wise choice, and all the best

Jumping the long queue for a jab because my wife made an appointment for me after she stood in the queue for 3 hours.

Came in this morning to reboot a NAS and server.

NAS won't log in. Ok, sod you. Pushed power button to switch it off. Waited obligatory 20 seconds for HDD's to spin down.

Jabbed power button. Boots.

Disk boot failure.

>Panic mode ENGAGED<

Check all USB ports, nope, no USB sticks or HDD's.

Check BIOS, all is good and correct.

Reboots.

Disk boot error. %@@@$

Pulled power, waited for 5 minutes, plugged power back in...

...and it boots beautifully.

/cancels brownware download

Nothing like having a critical server/service boots up without issues.

Installed PocketTube extension and finally my youtube subs can be put into categories/folders. Not just a big nonsensical list anymore. Youtube really needs to look at their layout and configurability of the sidebars etc. Anyway...extension to the rescue.

That looks handy, can it maybe back up your YouTube profile, subscriptions and playlists?

My decade+ old cheap Cash Crusaders sub amp, spilled beer on it over the weekend, made all kinds of bad noises before shorting out, thought it was gone for but alas, soooooo happy.

Opened it up to have a look, its 2 caps are leaking fluid so I'll have to replace them eventually which I'll gladly do
