I’ve put around 3500km of purely city driving on a diesel car, and not once have I seen a DPF regen happen.

The doomsday naysayers said I would be regenerating every tankful with short distance driving. Let’s hope the trend continues.

Replaced the tiny little handle on my one fishing reel with a proper knob. Sjoe feels lekker in the hand.

Busy but productive time at home...

Tilers done with both sons bedroom floors, passage floor and second bathroom;
Tilers busy with main bathroom tiling after ripping everything out to retile;
Wallpaper going up in newest unborn son's bedroom;
Wallpaper being sorted out in guest bathroom;
Jhb Water replaced our water meter after we discovered a leak;
Testing a Zodiac MX6 pool cleaner as the Kreepy Krauly/Pentair Dominator is just **** and the Zodiac Pacer I tested was even worse;

Still lots to do like service the fire place, sort out the pool solar heater leak, sort out the leak in the irrigation system, sort our various light switches that don't seem to do anything, lights that aren't switched by anything, fans wired in line with lights, etc, etc.
