Things to do with SO?

wow, thanks for the replies. I just need to start doing thing but not too much at once...

its going to be a she, and if shes shot one before and doesnt like it or has had a traumatic experience sure.. if none of that applies... she needs to be open minded .....

It's something I'm working on :/ We started running together 3 times a week in the mornings. My next step was to exchange one running session for a cycling session, and ease back into it, but I just broke my ribs coming off the mtb bike so out of action for a while :(

wow guys.. lol... thought i would try and thing outside the box...

iv done the romantic stuff(picnics, home cooked 3course meals, fancy hotels, restaurants,walks on the beach, etc etc etc) .. hasnt worked out well so far... thought i would try something different...

but since everyone things this is a bad idea..... lol.. it might serve me well to steer clear of it...
 
She and I are so different :/ I don't mind it all that much but she sometimes brings it up as a sore point in the relationship.

She likes walks/jogging/running. I hate it.
I like sci-fi, fantasy, action, martial arts and horror. She hates all of those.
She can't stay at home, always has to be out and about no matter what. I get more and more anxious being away from home.
I am the adventurous one though when it comes to being open to new things. She is extremely reserved and cautious/safe.
She is very social and talkative. I have to rewire my brain every time I need to make conversation.
I love computer games. She can't even stand the sound of a mouse click.
She loves TV and series a lot. I see it as the least interactive form of time waste.
I am self entertained, a loner and full of hobbies that can keep me occupied for decades. She has few repeatable hobbies and thrives on external stuff.
She loves shopping for clothes and groceries. I hate it with a passion.
I love shopping for gadgets and tech. She avoids those stores like the plague.
She is family oriented. I hardly feel the need to even pick up the phone.

And so it goes on :p how we manage is beyond me.

This year we have hosted a few movie nights at the old age home, showing very old movies, we even bought a projector together. Just sitting down and chatting to the old folks is really something great, they have so many stories to tell.
This year we would like to go to a home for people with mental illnesses the older generation of about +30, they are like kids, we have started to go there a few time a month taking with us lots of paper and coloring books, they really enjoy it and they don't care who you are or where you came from, its really heart warming seeing how much they appreciate the company and when they can remember your name.
