Think CAR!!!!!

Most people dont have a problem if you do that but then do it at your own risk at a safe speed for other motorists and dont damage someones property if you almost caused an accident by doing something illegal.

Must be nice having a holier than hell attitude hey

Pretty much every single almost accident I have had on my bike was because the idiot moron in the car didnt indicate, so really, and I mean this go f yourself

So what if there was not one case, the point is just because something is not prosecuted does not now suddenly make it legal.

Actually if u have some law background which I do, you will know that if a norm is established through continues actions it can be seen as law and treated as such

Do you even hear yourself?

Everyone tries to follow the rules as they are set out, now I am holier than hell because I dont accept someone getting angry because he did not follow the rules.

Get off you Iron horse

Sure once that practice is declared safe and benificial and you have passed that law, untill then its not legal.

I'm sure if we follow that mentality curruption will be legal soon.

Look, its no use getting all worked up about it. Us motorist should simple accept that bikers are more advanced than us, that us why they can take bigger risks and we envy that. Stop moaning about it and give them the space and admiration they deserve.

we are pretty awesome

I am also a biker and although i get what the op says, the op must remember that we as bikers reap both the reward and take on the risk of using a bike. I could never use a car to commute, I would go out of my mind with frustration in traffic.
It's a choice that you make though, nobody forced you into using a bike. Many people see the risk as outweighing the reward, and therefore put up with the frustration of traffic.

Remember that drivers have to put up with bad drivers too - it's enough that we have to try and prevent being involved in an accident every day, but now there's the added burden of trying not to have the death of a biker on your conscience.

So yes, think car, it's unfair that we're expected to bow down to a choice that you made. You guys should realise that we're living in SA, not in a country where people obey the rules of the road, and as such even us drivers are trying to avoid being killed by other drivers.

Had to dig through lots of cr@p to find this

EXPLANATION:

A motorcycle may treat each lane as a public road, i.e. may overtake another vehicle on that road. (in that lane)

Are any of the bikers reading this thread using the emergency lane on the N1 on the right to ride in? If so why

I hate that it causes the cages to move over narrowing the actual biker lane.
