This a good rig?

People were trying to get you the best deal for your money, at the end of the day that did not happen. None of the suggestions involved parting with credit card or personal details, was straight EFT with very reputable dealers people trust more than takealot.

Yeah bud it wasn't asked for, you get the point. You ask between A and B but get C ;) Not that it's not appreciated.....But it happens a lot when some asks some thing. How often does some one get an answer between A and B, almost never :)

@ OP, you can't go wrong with Wootware. For what it's worth I spent close on 20k there over the last couple of months and unlike takealot they will help out with advice if required.

Hey guys I know this thread is dead already but I just wanted to say we managed to get the wootware parts that was recommended. They allowed us to put in the order and then pay and collect at their somerset west branch.

What was the final parts list?

WTF you on? I never said anything about recommended hardware, maybe a suggestion for a better part at the same or better price.

You either have me confused with someone else or still butt hurt that you got farked over by Takealot. All which could have been avoided if you listened to the likes of Ponder and others...

The MSI Bazooka motherboard, GTX 1050 Ti and the i5 7500.

Good build. Any reason you went for the i5 and not the i7 from Carbonite?
I also bought an i5 brand new as opposed to an i7 from cabonite when I did my last build. Just curious :p

My friend specifically wanted a brand new rig not to mention the fact that his grandma is REALLY old school and won't a **** agree to buy from a place such as Carbonite. Getting the wootware parts was already an effort and it's only due to wootware allowing us to order and then pay and collect. If it was for me, I'd bargain hunt. The only parts I prioritize to be brand new is the PSU and Motherboard.

I too wanted a brand spanking new CPU. That was my reason too :)

Good, enjoy the new rig!
