Massive Microsoft price hikes in South Africa

My oldest is a student and need Microsoft Office and a Windows 11 computer. Considering that Microsoft push advertisement as well I wonder if they are in financial trouble or if this is just another money grab.

Can educators move over to Linux?
 
You can buy Office 2021 Professional on Bob Shop for R17 a license and they activate just fine.
So there is also that... thanks Microsoft

Doing that for years now but did you notice that when you do a reinstall especially with the Office 2019 key that it refuses to reactivate and I had to buy one again. I didn't pay R17 for it was closer to R150. I am not complaining it is a good price BUT I had to start to learn to keep images of the SSDs so that I can restore the image if something goes wrong. But even with the image Office 2019 complained it needed to be reregistered with new key. So it didn't really work.
 
Cheapest I am getting is Office 2021 Pro for R45 I will grab a few tomorrow my wife wants to move over from 2016 to the latest I can get
 
Stupid moronic question since a lot of my win10 PC laptops can't upgrade I will have to go with a Antivirus. how is AVG lately I see 10 Devices for 1 year for R379?

What you mean recommendations? For Bountybox? Yes they are legit, bought many keys from him over the years. Support is also great if their is a problem.
As for Office 2021 I don't know, I just always get the Office 2016, works great with no subscriptions or other stuff.

They generally last for a good year or two, easy enough to just get another code if yours goes awol.
