A typo somewhere in the process. But there's definitely no C box.

Some people think they have the 'old' box and they want to wait for the C ... But no such thing
 
But I might very well upgrade to one of the uncapped packages if streaming via this player works well... Will see how it goes. Fiber also being trenched in my area. So many options...so little money. :p
 
At telkom shop now. Cant add monthly payments for the box to any lte package of less than 50gig pm
 
Got my lit box.. Not the fastest, smoothest box.. Have an issue.. When i switch the box off and switch it on the language changes. Not sure chinese or korean..

Anyone else have this problem.

Running android 7.1.2

Edit: my lg magic remote works with this lit box and seems to be conflicting with the language settings on this box.. Resolved by turning of my simp link settings.

That's what I'm scared of. Quad Core with 2GB Ram. I'm still saying that it's better to get Octa Core with 3GB Ram. Future Proof.
 
I just ordered a Shield, the ultimate Android box. Can't stand these Android boxes that run the mobile interface, it's infuriating to use.

Did you order from abroad. Linky if you don't mind.

Had a look at the Shield.
Some users actually prefer having Android instead of Android TV.

Can't comment as I've only used Android on phone/tablet before.

Yup on Amazon (us). They only ship the 16gb version to SA.

It's still pricey (R3700) but worth it imo.
