Do you have that online link to activate/deactivate telkom lit.. i came across it last week but didnt save the link.. Maybe telkom enabled us by default to the lit service

Just noticed that my router says line speed is 2mb...not the 4mb i am paying for... Aaargh. Logged a call with Telkom to investigate...rebooting router didnt work.

Could my slow line have reduced my Dstv now quality? Does the app adjust bitrate based on connection speed?

Yes slow line will affect service but you should have quality of around 480p.. netflix can do 720p on a 2mb line
 
For what it's worth, I just downloaded a UHD HDR (stereo) file and played flawlessly though Kodi (which as the others say, has a really smooth UI!)

Battling to get TrueHD to work ... got standard 5.1 and DTS. Can anyone confirm with both Plex and Kodi even work?

A Google shows plenty of issues on both platforms. Even the NVidia battled with these at a point.

Unsure if they're working 100%

So I went to get this today from telkom. The Agent said they don't sell anything for cash in the shop.

So I enquired about the a contract since I have an LTE Uncapped and Dad has a fixed landline.

They said I couldn't add it to my additional account but had to take out a new one with works out to R799 including a Modem .


Any advice on how to get it ?

Tell them the call Centre said you can and when they refuse, ask them to call the call Centre in store. Usually sorts them out :p
 
Got dstv now to work on lit box.. It upscales bitrate to highest.. Install dstv now v 1.30.. It also goes full screen immediately. Thou the interface not do grand..

But it works.. Sport in HD

My two boys wants to know if there are any games i can install for them....grrrr.. Would any of the games on the play store support this remote?
