This is what a Microsoft tech support scam looks like

Funny how the scammer sounds exactly the same in so many cases.

Heavy indian accent with a blocked nose.

Great but the pics - when I click a pic your script starts cycling through all images and there is simply NO WAY anyone can read that entire FBI thing in the 10 seconds you get between cycles. Perhaps don't auto-advance the slide show?

n00b, there is a pause button in the top right corner.

Good timing, they literally called me yesterday warning me about my system being in danger, at which point I gave them a nice run around and finally telling them I run a Linux based OS causing the person to not say a word for probably a good minute.

Maybe next time misses scammer. :D

I wondered why they keep phoning so last time I denied ever owning a computer and asked what number he dialed, guy said he doesn't have that info on his screen and hung up so I guess they're using an auto-dialer.

Getting these calls twice a week now, although I have never given them a glimmer of hope of getting into my systems.

Last time caller ID showed a 053 number.

I was bored so I carried the conversation for a good 20 minutes acting the part of the hapless infected PC user slowly asking more and more technical questions until I got bored and went higher grade on him and he realised something was up. At this point he ranted and raved about how stoopid we Saffers are and how many people he conned till he cut the call, good times, 10/10 would do it again.

I asked him if they actually catch people with this. He said 80% people they call fall for this. Not sure how many calls they make a day though. But they are almost phoning me once a week.

No one catch the name of the file that is Rick Astley? LMFAO!

I have had three calls, normally a German accent.
First I ended the call, next call I kept him busy and eventually said I have a Apple pc, after which he wanted to transfer me to his Apple tech support!
The last time I said I was busy, and asked for his number to call him back. He disappeared after that.
