Is it possible to get the macbook air 1TB, 16GB model in SA?

I am looking at Mustek, but biggest they have is this:

13-INCH MACBOOK AIR: APPLE M1 CHIP WITH 8-CORE CPU AND 8-CORE GPU, 512GB - SPACE GREY

Contact either Digicape or iStore and request a special order with your chosen spec. ETA is like a month from order but you'll get exactly what you want with local warranty. M1's GPU cannot output multiple (2+) displays without tricking it into thinking it's one big display and splitting it (displaylink) into several

Air/Pro supports internal + one external
Mini supports two externals

I have not tried a docked Air/Pro and two externals but I don't think it would work since the internal display is hardwired and "always on" as far as the software can tell - and I don't own another type-C to HDMI adaptor

why do you need such a fast machine anyways?
i read your requirements in post #1 and dont see why you can justify paying so much for an Apple laptop

I bought another dongle and will test running two 1080p displays tonight on my M1 Air
 
These machines will redefine how you look at RAM lol

The Air will thermal throttle when you get to resource-intensive tasks. The Pro should be able to handle them without thermal throttling since it has the built-in fan.

You can order directly from Apple on their website. If you're buying through the US store you may have to pay local sales taxes. Try Canada, UK or Hong Kong. They ship it down and you'll have it in a few weeks.

Yeah, you cant do that with newer macbooks. Leave the screen closed and it doesnt cool well enough, that leads to battery swelling and a deformed case.

Seen this happen with quite a few MBP's in my office.

my MacAir is an i5 (mid 2013) I only see that now, I thought i bought it in 2012 and that it was an i3, anyways
this thing stays ice cold all day, i never open the screen but i do hear the fan on a hot day so i have wedged an old paintbrush inside to keep the lid ajar but not far enough so that the screen switches on.

I guess newer tech is more power hungry and will create more heat.

Granted that it's Intel saying these things, so take it with a pinch of salt. I'm well willing to believe that there will be hiccups with a new platform though, and I'm not keen to be an early adopter.

If Windows is the problem you're trying to solve, why spend zillions on a mac when you can download Ubuntu or some other Linux distro for free? Linux can do basically everything you want to do except MS Office natively.
 
On the entry-level cheap baseline M1 it's more perf/watt (which explains M1 Pro's stupid battery, no really... it's stupid)

Once Apple drops their desktop stuff with power budgets above an iPhone... hahahahaha ggwp Intel
