it isn't the cops fault our courts are horribly corrupt. I reckon they arrest far more rapists and murderers than we know about, dockets are easily lost, evidence tampering with easy. Killing witnesses etc. So many ways to get off charges as long as you have money to grease a few palms.

I have to ask, have you ever spent time in a criminal court.
It is not the court's that are corrupt.
The dockets are kept by the investigating officer - a cop.
The evidence is kept at the police station - again cops.
Then of course the legal process itself:
In court you will find the magistrate, the prosecutor, the accused & their attorney.
Over & over & over, you will hear the cases are remanded for further investigation, this will usually happen at least 5 or 6 times before a trial date is even set - again, waiting on the police to do their work.
Or very often, the investigating officer is not present - remanded - again - the cops.
Or the docket is not at court - remanded - again - the cops.
Or the forensic results are not available - remanded - again - the cops.
Killing of witnesses - accused is granted bail, one of the fundamental requirements of being granted bail, is that the accused will not interfere with the witnesses or investigation - again - the domain of the cops.
