Just for the record, my personal experience after a year of lowcarb high fat (a while ago, sadly, carb addiction is stronger than me)...
Weight lost: 21kg
Ending cholesterol figures:
LDL 1.1
HDL 2.0
Triglycerides 1.0

Seriously deadly ****, that.

MD is Doctor of Medicine.

not big pharma at all. Big agriculture. Grain farming.
Medical specialists are not willingly part of it - they go by what they're taught...

you have a very fluid definition of "quack"

What does an anaesthetist know about nutrition, since you're so keen on specialisations and are also keen on pointing out how they think he's wrong?
