We are extending our house, and I would appreciate if anyone can give tips on the foundation:

1) Whats the best way to protect the future building from termites and ants?

2) Whats the best product for damp?

3) Any other advise for a good strong foundation, with no problems on the building later?

1) Whats the best way to protect the future building from termites and ants? Have the foundation drilled and treated by professionals.

2) Whats the best product for damp? Plastic, in between the foundation and the wall.

3) Any other advise for a good strong foundation, with no problems on the building later? Hire a certified professional to lay it.
