Are you signed on with a local account or with a MS account? If local then you have to specifically sign on with your MS account to download the Apps in MS store. Once the downloads are completed, simply sign out of your MS account in MS Store.

Does anybody actually use Microsoft Edge?

Yup, as of yesterday. Chrome stopped opening. Only loading instances in the background, I uninstalled it and then the download, downloads nothing.

BTW, the latest update Version 1607 ; Build 14393.105, released on 31 August 2016 has fixed the "freezing problem".

Just wasted 3GB+4GB for downloads. Another Aniversary Release? .LOL.

Yes quite unexpected that so soon after the major release of 1607, that even beffore the month was out a huge update was released.

Makes on wonder what goes on in the Insider circles ....
