keen to understand mechanics of this one.
I buy elec via online portal using cheque card, would that impact 100% attainment?
But you're not using your cheque card, you're using your cheque account via FNB online banking.

Think what they are trying to do ... only use you cheque card at tills and debit orders on your cheque account

Will confirm tomorrow with my premier banker

The more you spend via you CC ... the more money you make for them. A few pages back that inter connect fees for using your CC (ring any bells)

I'll have 21,500 point when I make these changes:

1. Move some debit orders from my ABSA savings to my FNB cheque.
2. Transfer R6,000 from Savings Pocket to Euro Global Account. Balance of Savings Pocket R9,000 back to regular accounts.
3. Scheduled transfer of R500 to Investment Account (Ecall).
4. Use the app to do one transaction a month.

Thanks.

On platinum this is interesting:

Does it mean I mustn't use the cheque card (I don't)? Does it include payments or debit orders?

To answer myself:

Total monthly spend = Platinum Credit Card spend + Platinum Cheque Card spend; excludes EFTs and transfers.

So never use the cheque card.

Looks like im losing my level 5 benefit. Seems like they want you to take out more and more debt with them. Have no use for car finance and tablet contracts, so won't be trying to up my points tally.

I lost the points for having had an account for 18 months (I think it was), now you need to have had it for 3 years. I'm a few months short.

On my side, it looks that I must use my FNB app on my phone once a month (that is the only different thing to remember).

Not to fond of this change.

Well, its login and move money from one account to the other.

My worries again is the homeloan section.

I must say, I was hoping they might not change the rules now, as I am with fnb for many decades. This was a big surprise ... seriously

Hasn't this always been the case? Pretty sure I've been earning eBucks by logging in once a month.

Aww bollocks... I'm down 500 points again. Re-read the homeloan section and mine's new so haven't been with them for a year yet. :(

Guess I'm gonna have to draft that will with them.

And this ... its so confusing:

•100% of your total monthly spend is on your Platinum Credit Card -> 4 000eb

Total monthly spend = Platinum Credit Card spend + Platinum Cheque Card spend;
