+1, same here, I'm on platinum. Add to that a home loan.

If i didn't have a home loan, I'd get a global account.

You pay R199 for a credit card and cheque account (I know this is available on platinum). And that is it. All ATM, cash withdraws, debit orders etc are included.

If you are not on that option, one pay R16.50 I think a month to have you accounts linked to ebucks.

I had a query before July, as all of us paid R200 (The yearly fee), but now it has changed. And eventually I got a refund today on my credit card for the months not used (which was paid for)

Hope it all makes sense

So you technically wouldn't have the card for a minimum of a year cos switching between cards resets the process.

This is correct. I upgraded to platinum, and lost those points from my Gold account

I know that buying airtime and fnb airtime helps you earn ebucks.

Do you earn ebucks on smart devices i.e tv, phone, tablet or laptop?

Tell them to catch a wakeup... it's how long you have banked with FNB on a whole, not how long you have had gold or black plastic.

Me too. Got R150! I think its because e-bucks fee is changing to monthly.

SO just closed her account like a week ago so just missed out.

That is my understanding as well and how my points have been earned/allocated.
 
Stood in the queue at makro with R3500 worth of stuff and ordered an sms voucher. Waited.... Waited some more... Let people go in front of me.... Waited some more... left the queue and let the kids go play on the exercise equipment... waited some more.... joined the queue again.... let some more people go... waited till the last person went (it was closing time) and the voucher never came.

I feel so annoyed spending that amount of money when it should have been zero :mad:

And no I couldn't order it any earlier or even go back tomorrow as I went there for other stuff and saw paint on special (and we need to repaint the inside of our house).

I need a sympathetic shoulder.... *sniff*

That sucks. I was planning on buying the voucher at the store but was advised against it so got it the day before.

Did you get it eventually?

that's a bugger. hope the voucher comes through - at least you have over two years to spend it, so not all is lost.

Lol.. I just went for a stupid R100 alarm clock radio thing. And the wife wanted to go check out some of the other specials. Go to Makro they said. It will be quick they said....

Ps. Still have not received it. Last time it took just a few minutes. Just my luck

Did you get the checkout OTP? I had to enter that during checkout before the transactions was completed.
 
I usually buy my vouchers the day before as I've also experienced delays in receiving OTPs and Voucher Codes especially on Sundays.

I've used all my ebucks to buy Makro vouchers before I drop from PW RL5 to RL4. I'm looking at moving to PC rather than PW to keep RL5, but I've been told that I need to close and reopen my CC (at recalculated limits and interest rates) to downgrade.

Delete your post dude. I think this is actually possible. I know from the takealot thread that loopholes are discovered by staff/minions visiting the mybb site and then those loopholes disappear.

I also tried quoting it and myBB broke :D

Anyway - I don't think @arrow is correct.
I'm sure that Money Market doesn't reflect as Checkers but as it's own entity. Maybe even Computicket.
