Tips to Boost your eBucks

Can Premier Bankers organise bank guaranteed cheques, so then one could collect it from the Premier Suites instead of at a branch?

I see it is official, the mnothly cost/payment of the smart device back as ebucks is only for private clients, one of the unanswered questions earlier in the thread. Website is now updated. https://www.ebucks.com/web/eBucks/earn/earn-from-the-bank.jsp

Another interesting thing, on FNB internet banking, where it usually suggest more products to you, I used to get many offers for loans ect, as soon as I added an investment for ebucks points, they stopped suggesting loans to me...I like that at least.

So for the first time in my life I might have to dip into an overdraft facility for the month. It's going to cost me 1000 points when my positive balance gets nuked but on the plus side I'll get 2000 points for using the overdraft facility.

So when does the new rules/points show on the Ebucks or Internet Banking rewards page websites?
I checked just now and it still shows my earnings for August. Eish.

I thought the whole benefit (according the FNB) of the new ebucks earn rules is to make it easier for the customer to see how much they earn at any point in time without taking previous months's points into consideration. Surely they should have updated the websites by now?

My ebuck earnings for the previous months normally show on the two websites around the 8th or 9th of the next month. I guess my September earnings will only reflect next Wednesday then? And only in November will they bother to update with the current month's earnings/points?

This month's reward level is still based on the old rules, so no idea why you expecting it to show the new ones. Next month's level will be based on what you do this month and the new rules.

I know.
But then surely they should show the rules from this month onwards on the website? And not wait until next month when it already too late to change any options.

But do I earn the same 15% on fuel?
Your rewards level determines your eBucks rewarded.

OK, but I see your confusion now. The new rules apply as of 1 October but the current rewards level was earned by the old rules.

Your credit card is your tool of choice going forward but under the old rules you didn't get 15% back using it. Confusing indeed...

I just need to know what my behaviour needs to be this month, so next month I get awarded maximum points.

So when I get to the The petrol station....is it credit card or cheque card?

Are u on Platinum credit card and cheque card? It looks like you would be better served spending as much as possible using ur credit card. This will give you points towards a higher level. Which card you use wont make a difference for the current month but will help towards the next month if you use ur credit card.

Swipe your credit card in a calendar month for:
• Between R2 000 and R4 999
• Between R5 000 and R9 999
• Between R10 000 and R19 999
• R20 000 or more
1 000 points
1 500 points
2 000 points
2 500 points

Isn't the points you earn in a given month going to be the point around which your rewards will be calculated on the 8th of the next month?

That's the way I understand it.

Oh this is fun.

So the new rules list this:
If you hold an FNB Platinum Cheque Account on the unlimited pricing
option and an FNB Platinum Credit Card you will no longer have to pay
the linkage fee on your FNB Platinum Credit Card to earn eBucks.

I email and tell them, the website still wants to charge me R200 when trying to link credit card.

They email back saying it shouldn't.

I link it, and next day it slams on the R200 fee, straight on to my credit card.
Code:
Thu 02 Oct 2014 #JAARLIKSE EBUCKS FOOI -200.00

Emailed them back now to process the refund... /sigh

Goodluck! Email turnaround times are terrible! Even "premier banking"

Wait a second, I reread those rules again. I was always on the unlimited pricing option, but if you get a smart device that changes your plan? I guess that could be it, didn't completely think about that...

hey bud ygpm
Thank you, replied.
