Any news on what FNB's LTE pricing will look like? Also what discounts would be applied to ebucksers :)

I'm on PC and get free uncapped dsl currently, but can't seem to find where it lists this current benefit structure. Anyone got a link handy?

EDIT.. ok just found it https://www.fnbconnect.co.za/products-consumer-uncapped.shtml

Seems free to the value of R399 for me. So hopefully LTE launches in about the 600-700 bucks range, then I can cancel telkom line rentals, allocate those funds to the LTE deal and have muuuch faster internet.

Holding thumbs!

I'm not a big spender. I'm on RL5.

I switched to a platinum account and my RL4 on Gold dropped to RL0 and stayed there for about 3 years, I switched back to Gold and went back up to RL4, I assumed it's because I was not a high roller.

There is minimum amount of money that must enter your account each month. It certainly is higher for higher level accounts.
While the bank will allow anyone to upgrade to higher accounts, the ebucks qualification rule will own you, if you dont really earn enough for said account.

I can confirm that I loaded a Checkers sms voucher (wicode) at the Money Market on a gift card. No problem.

True. Bare in mind there could have been another stuff up on FNB's side but he will never know now...

Someone I know, their credit card physically was a Gold card but it was actually Silver at account level. Can't earn eBucks when the credit and cheque accounts are mismatched!

Virtual vouchers, but I usually get a confused cashier when I say I have a voucher...

But this goes back to how bad Checkers really is. Under trained staff.

I have never used a voucher at Checkers, but I am impressed that at Makro, all the staff know what to do.

So to pay utility bills, Telkom etc. is it better to go to a cashier or easypay counters at woolies or pnp and swipe a cc or to do it online via easypay.co.za?

To me, Easypay is the easiest, and your payment counts as an online purchase, so more EBucks.

How exactly does a revolving loan work?

Can I use it the same way that I use my overdraft (move 10% away for 24 hours and then move it back) to get the 2000 points and if so, what are the costs involved?

Trying to get to RL5. I don't have a lot of other options. Stuck on RL4.

How are you missing RL5? I'm checking and I can't find a reason.

I'm stuck on RL3. Please tell me a bit more about how to use the overdraft just for the points and costs involved?

I had to take out an overdraft after accidentally moving quite a big some of money into my savings account (32 day notice account) and forgot that I already had a scheduled payment for the same amount.

Went off at basically the same time :(

Never work with money at 4am!

No offence, but overdraft abuse should be one of the last things you link into, if you missing RL5 by a select few points. On RL3 there is far better things to do, that doesnt cost money, and you should look at those first to get to RL4 before spending money, or making debt, to go up in levels.
