My profile still hasn't been updated since I downgraded my account, still shows as being on reward level 1 whereas I should be on 5 with combined cheque/credit accounts. Not going to harass them yet but hope it updates soon as I have done some huge swipes since my downgrade but would imagine it would only reflect on my ebucks at the end of December?
I noticed that with the new Platinum rules they expect all the cardholders to act like rich hotshots that have large investments and fly around the world.
Hehehe...You know what, if you put R500/m into a share saver account you would get to 10k in +- 18 months and 50 k in less than 5 years. The 50 k will still be yours not the banks so it seems they are trying to make you 50 k richer.
Hehehe...
And Mercedes is trying to make you a more dignified person by selling you their new E-Class?
Since you're happy to have this conversation with yourself, I'll say no moreStill my reasoning is sound

My eBucks have been allocated and again they have got it wrong. Still no resolution to last months mess and now again. I was not allocated the points for using between 10 and 90% of my credit card limit.
Exact same **** up on my side. Will call the bastards tomorrow.
2nd month on the new ebucks rules that I did get to level 5 on platinum. Not complaining, but Se@n makes it sound like he earns a ****load more than me, even though I am on level 5. Got +- 9000 ebucks, which is about the norm for me.
But I do think I am losing out somewhere, I got super low ebucks rewards for online shopping, when that is probably where most of my spend is going. Instead that spend went off against normal shopping...so losing out on 2% there.
Quick question, buying fuel do you do that on credit card? Does it attract immediate interest? Please someone that actually has experience and not speculation. I've just got my credit card in an attempt to boost my level but obviously I don't want to start paying interest on fuel.w
Buying on your petro card attracts interest immediately, buying on your credit card is treated as a normal POS transaction and is interest free within your billing cycle (so long as you are a transactor vs revolver)
