I do know that in October you will no longer be penalized for not signing up for FNB spam, oh sorry marketing permission.
(Although I finally gave in last week and signed up for their spam in order to try accrue eBuck points).

To all those with devices from FNB, what price option are you on? I remember reading that you can't be on fee-saver (I'm currently on this and pay like R12 pm in bank charges)

wow, 40% off everything in the Ebucks store!
I doubt if it is 40% across the board. For 2 products I checked, discount was 40% for level 5, 30/20/10/5 for level 4/3/2/1 respectively. Great saving from level 2 onwards in any case.

I am on level 5, so for me it is 40% off everything

Uhm there is something going on with 40% discount on EVERYTHING on the ebucks store.

:) In that image keyword is "up to"
I am fine with the 40%, I am on level 5.

It is the fact that everything in the store now qualifies for discounts, where in the past it was only on select items. They probably figured out, people just grab the vouchers, and they go and buy stuff from Checkers Hyper or Makro. Instead now they make use of it to also help them clear out stock out of their own warehouse.

@sjm, how long is this promotion gonna run for?

You have to change to the unlimited price plan which is a fixed fee of R100 or R145 depending on what kind of account you have. https://www.fnb.co.za/downloads/pricing-guide/Personal_Pricing.pdf

Hence you have to change from Fee Saver and which is why I have not gone for any of the Smart deals. Paying zero banking fees is preferable to paying R145 per month.

Exactly. I guess it all equals out to some extent in the end.
