Just on slow lounges for all that care and think platinum got a raw deal, the graphite/PC clients really got throttled and fast.
Graphite 2013 - 28 visits per month across cheque and credit card
Graphite rebrand to PC 2014 - 8 visits across cards
PC 2015 - 4 visits

Have you been to a slow lounge recently?

It's like a flipping squatter camp. Often you can't even find a seat. Defeats the purpose altogether...

Absolutely, domestic is a really unpleasant place to be - used the jhb lounge last month and actually left to sit elsewhere.

International however is still very much world class. And imo where it really counts - that said can't really be using 4 of those a month.

Yeah if you're travelling for business that often, your company can damn well pay the entry fee ;)

Agreed.

The real point of me working it out was to illustrate how FNB fluffed up Graphite to sell it and then throttled almost immediately.

Summarised on the email they sent out a few days ago with notification of the new rules etc

I am trying to find it aswell, but cant see it anywhere

the only email from ebucks was with a header "The way you earn eBucks is being updated", but that isn't that at all. Just the new rules

That's the one I got it on. Right at the bottom.

So I accidentally ended up on RL5 this month. I've never been a huge eBucks follower, but just enjoyed the odd rewards. But after going through this post, I'm officially addicted.

Thanks guys!

Grats! Wish I could accidentally get to RL5 :p I'm hoping to get to RL4 next month

I see you no longer receive 15% on electricity via fnb on gold. Does anyone know if I will now get 15% if I purchase at checkers?

Checkers vouchers can be used to pay accounts (which you will not earn 15% on). Though you still need some online account payments to get those points.

So you don't decrease your 15%earn in any way, and can get a 40% discount on some accounts. Use the money saved to invest as you wish.

Heres a question...
The doctors we frequent (family of 4) is at the local Medicross, who I noticed allow for payment with an Edgars card.
I have never had store cards of this nature... but is this feasible..

1) Pay for Doctor Visits with Edgars card
2) Pay Edgars card online

Thereby getting double ebucks points and that amount goes towards the online spend.

So - is it possible to pay an Edgars account online?

99% of doctors won't give you discount, if you pay with an Edgars card. So you will loose out on that.
