No boet.. that rule has changed.. it's no longer at swipe value but at 0.6%
Either way - the excess is not carried into the swipes category.

I wonder if these changes worked out better or worse for FNB.
I mean, let's look at FNB's goals:
Reduce the amount of money that each customer costs to maintain (in terms of branch transactions)
Increase the amount of money that each customer spends at the bank, or indirectly earns the bank through fees and interest
Reduce the amount of money paid out to customers as eBucks
I wonder which of them, if any, they were successful in achieving.
Finally... eBucks allocation received on PW.
22000 points and 32486 eB

Is it possible to pay speeding fines via EasyPay ? I cant find the easypay number to be used for Johannesburg Metro Police Dept.
I can see a lot of other traffic departments in the list, but not JMPD
AARTO.GOV
Thanks ... they direct me to payCity.co.za
What I am trying to find out, I know for easypay accounts that is seen as online shopping. And ebucks gets rewarded for that.
But I truly hate fines![]()
i am a relative newbie with fnb. but my banker told me to update my email address to be wrong and then fix it in order to get the 1000pts. For me - i can't remember when last i updated my in contact settings... so i will do this every few mths...
And she was quite explicit that its a bug in the system - and you have to fiddle it to make sure you keep the 1000pts...

No. Online shopping has a certain cap (different for each card). Thereafter you earn at your swipes earn rate. What I see under earn at the moment for swipes, does not take into account the excess from online.
The calculator seems to have more tips now. When you hit a cap the note next to it explains a bit more about why. The Checkers tip also lets you see how much more you can spend before hitting the cap.
I also got points for all the Home Loan items, but I thought I wouldn't because I took money out of the loan last month. Still, 23000 points total so won't complain
As for the R500 scheduled investment points, also didn't get that but I suspect it's because my first one went off on 1 August, so the rule might not have applied for July.
Just remind me... does it take your swipes in the calendar month or your own personal card cycle?
Tried looking on the ebucks site and they don't mention the period. Anyone know?
From what I can see it is calendar month with a few transactions getting delayed
