I need to do an easy pay payment. If I transfer out of my gold cheque account will it be considered as monthly spend and will I loose reway points and drop a level?

Why not use your credit card on the easy pay site?
 
I'm on Gold. I called FNB connect now and they have advised that a few clients have been calling in this morning about the same issue. They are in touch with the eBucks team and will revert back to me with an update

Same here. On Gold and RL5 yet received sms this morning that I will pay R399. No warning. Wtf. If this is the case then I will cancel the crap as its only used as backup.

Yeah I also use it only as a backup. It's bullshyt that they just charge us without any prior notification
 
I got my usual R0 for uncapped sms this morning. So all good on my front (PC).

Same with Platinum (or whatever it's branded now). RL5, 6 Mbps uncapped free (only have it for a backup though).
 
The problem is only on Gold as far as I know and as per the consultant.
 
Do you still have the original slip at least?
I would take it up with said checkers. The person at the till should have loaded the remaining value for you on to a physical voucher. Said supervisor gave you the wrong advice.



Unfortunately, doubt eBucks can help you with this, only the Checkers where you used it can, and should...

Perhaps checkers dont grasp the concept of loading remaining value on to a gift card.
So perhaps, you need to help them, and buy a gift card with the remaining value on it with the rest of your items, to make sure you zero out the virtual voucher.

Sux to hear you lost out on a sum of monies.

Will admit, I only use Chckers for the ebucks, and actually prefer local Pick N Pay over Checkers.

That's seriously uncool. Their accounting entries are definitely not balancing.

How easy is it to have a mistake corrected? I've noticed that I didn't get points for online purchases and logging into Wesbank this month. I have since dropped a level or two (can't remember).

I don't have an answer for you, but when something like this happens I start to think they actually tally our points manually every month...really hope I'm wrong.

You should give the Checkers manager an earful for telling you that you'd get the balance loaded to the gift card.

I tally my points monthly. For the past three months I was incorrectly allocated. I had to call and clarify with ebucks where they had to escalate the call (as the consultants are forever lost and uneducated on eBucks). Eventually I had bieng given points back for only two months. The point is that they seem to be messing up.

I'm on Gold RL5. Received the SMS advising R299 has been processed for my 4Mbps Uncapped ADSL. Sent them an email and still waiting for a response. :(

I recived an sms informing me that Checkers vouchers must be used in full. Thought everyone received it?
 
Sms received on 15 December: Your Shoprite/Checkers voucher can only be used once. Any remaining balance after first use will be forfeited. For more info please call eBucks on 0873203200.
