That will only affect a few small minority. I mean even most people on this thread, don't earn that much ebucks in a single month. Will only affect those on Private Wealth I think.

instead of saving ebucks for a large purchase, you will now have to plan better ahead. Say you want to by a 6k TV at Makro. Will have to buy 3 x R2000 vouchers

No. You can still buy the 6k voucher once off.

R6000 voucher = 60 000 eB.
40% of that is 24 000 eB discount, which is still within the limit in a single month.
* this is if you on reward level 5 of-coarse.

Has something happened with the eBucks & Kulula discount? Not a single kulula flight is showing up in the ebuck travel site, only SAA and BAA - which obviously don't qualify for the discount.

40% off 60 000 is 36 000 eB

Read my post again. "40% of 60 000 = 24 000". As in, the 40% part is 24 000.
I will only agree with you, if I say "60 000 discounted by 40% = 36 000"

You are correct.
I thought that the monthly limit for level 5 is 24 000 eB, however as you mentioned, it is a discount of 24 000 eB, which means that we could buy 36 000 eB worth of vouchers.
Thank you for the correction

What's the best thing to do to change your contact details?
Can you just swap your primary and secondary email addresses around?

Is changing your inContact email address good enough for this, or do you need to change details elsewhere?

Thanks,

I'm new to FNB and ebucks. What is the best way to draw cash and limit the effect on your reward level?

Really depends what your current points are.

You can get away with some ATM transactions and only lose 500 points, as long as your swipes are still more than ATM transactions.

The "only use your credit card for swipes" rule is far more valuable than this one.

^^ Other option to get cash is send to your cell / eWallet and draw from that. R9.50 flat fee for the transfer, up to 3k. Zero effect on eBucks reward points.

Or you can draw using your credit card at till, but you must be purchasing an item as well. You will be charged interest from day one, I believe, but it this removes the need to carry your cheque card around (unless you need to draw from an ATM).

Yeah it incurs interest but it's about the cost of an ATM transaction (if you were paying for it) over a month.

Nah man... Carry the cheque card ... Interest is evil! :D
