Has anyone noticed that ebucks has removed the 40% off makro vouchers?
This has happened before.
EDIT: No wait ... i didn't read properly.
Makro vouchers have disappeared previously... I can't remember the discount having been removed previously.

Does Makro provide any workaround that allows you to use the vouchers/gift-cards for an online/website purchase?

Dunno if this is the right place to post this but I'm in two minds about how to get a GoPro.

1) Theres someone selling a Hero4 Black edition with remotes SD cards 1 or 2 accessories for 7k

2) Use Ebucks get a voucher from Incredible and buy one brand new.

Thanks... The product is only available online. Will try visit the store this weekend.

Have the website handy on your phone so they can get the product code. Make sure you chat to the manager of the dept where you need to ask for the item. They are the only ones that seem to know how (my experience with the woodmead store).

Get voucher from Makro and buy brand new.

Even if second hand is less than 40% it's still real money.

Use the real money for stuff you can't buy with eBucks.

Me experience is slightly different.

1) I agree, it does help to have the product code on hand, I had mine printed out

2) Makro Cape Gate's inventory department was able to help me. Once they know what product you want, they order it to have stock of it instore, even if it is not on display. Then once the items have arrived there, they phone you back to let you know. Though in my case they didnt. I made my own follow up calls back to them, asking to speak to the person who helped me instore last time, and once confirmed the stock has arrived, I asked that they take out the item and have it ready as I am on my way to buy it.

Then you can pay with our voucher no problem.

Not getting this autopayment thing for the credit card. I had mine setup to settle full statement amount on the first of each month. But then I got charged interest. So I changed it to full amount but still getting charged interest. Also loosing out as not getting the points for not going into arrears on my CC. Probably will also reflect on my credit record. Not happy.

If you buy electricity and use cash till then you incur interest.

Also why are you going into arrears. Just don't and you'll get the points. But as I recall it needs to be 6 months or so.

Incurring interest is not going into arrears. Into arrears is not paying the minimum amount.

Where is this inventory department?

Is it possible to place this order telephonically?

Okay, seems like I don't understand it completely. I'm not going into arrears on purpose, I specifically have the autosettlement setup to settle outstanding amounts so was thinking I should be fine. I get the points for the autosettlement, but for the last 2 months the autosettlement didn't go off it seems.

Didn't know about the electricity thing as I do buy that on the app. I will just try and remember to settle the amount before monthend manually. Don't want to risk another month of this.

What I can say about this auto payment on the Credit Card leg, FNB took my minimum payment (which is correct), on the 25th for the 1st already. It looks like if the month of February has 29 days in, IT systems goes haywire

They don't go haywire, they pretend February is a normal month, because why code for something that only happens once a year? So the day before the last day of a working month in February would be Thursday

Once every four years in this year's case

Ok, in that case, my auto payment is scheduled for the 1st (which is my due date).

Why not take the debit order on the last working day of the month, which was the 29th

Anyway, its not a smash. Just strange how debit orders go off when they don't need to

I dont know about either.

I walk in, go to the front desk and ask to speak to someone from inventory department. The person then phone someone and they meet me there, at which point I can then ask about them placing the order for me.

In my mind, that inventory department is not a physical location in the store, but rather the role of certain individuals that ensure that they have up to date stock ect. and manage what gets ordered and so on.

Any advice how to change a debit order via my Credit Card to earn eB ?

FNB confirmed no eB are earned on debit orders via CC's
