Done it last year in Hermanus in November and December and Big Bay in February.

Don't say you want to buy a gift card. Tell them to load your " wi code" on a gift card. Subtle but important difference.

Alternatively just get the physical card delivered, it cost something like R35 iirc.

Should have sent the funds to your eWallet / done a cardless cash withdrawal in order to not be penalised.

OK, but bear in mind it is the 2nd worst way**, i.e. not a good way, to spend your eBucks. I would never do this but to each his own.

**[edit] because you lose out on the additional 15% back on Checkers spend (in eBucks on RL5).

Will you be able to confirm and does it mean it can be used as normal gift card with balance remaining in the card after spend

You get 40% off, how is that bad? Keep in mind there is a cap. Last year I did both, vouchers and credit card and got close to my usual eBucks each month.

That is exactly what I asked takeAlot. How can they see on my order I didn't checked the earn checkbox. I am sure I did. I still await an answer / proof

Sure if you hitting your 20% of total spend cap then go for it (checkers vouchers).

But if not, rather get Dischem, Makro, other partner vouchers utilising your 40% off, because normal spend at Checkers gets you 15% (*1.66 = 25%) back in eBucks value. I'll shut up now, FNB prefers ignorant customers :p

I agree, checkers is greatest earn rate, I won't buy checkers vouchers because of it

I take screen shots of my order page, when the section changes to green and confirms your ebucks details for earning. With Dropbox setup on my PC, prt scrn button presses automatically backs up the screen shot. I just keep hitting the print screen button to capture any online thing I want to keep in case and it just piles up in Dropbox "forever" in case I need it. Only thing we can do for now.

20% is easy to get to. For two months I would used vouchers (at 40% off) for two weeks of the month and my credit card for the rest of the month. I used to get around 10k-11k eB a month and it only dropped to 9k eB a month.

Someone needs to create a fancy spreadsheet to work out the sweet spots.

Gift card delivery fees is eBucks 550 and for electronic vouchers it's 25 eBucks per each Max R1000 voucher

Never thought about it this way, ordered R2k in Checkers vouchers today :/ Thinking about it though, I don't really use the other partners.

14. Click on Confirm.
15. A results page will display the status of your request.

Save 'em up for those big ticket items. One day you will need a new large appliance or electronic equipment that you can get at Makro.
 
Yeah saving mine too... at 55k eB for the 1st quarter. Will see if I can carry on and create a bonus for end of the year. :)
