Indeed! My strategy:So easy to slip up, and make a mistake.
1. Pay for items with credit card
2. Take back credit card
3. Tell the cashier that you want cash@till
4. Present Cheque Card for cash@till

You saying you can withdraw money from your cheque account with your credit card? I wondered about that. If so, I should just leave my cheque card at home to avoid further mistakes!
Okay yeah shot, that's what I thought. You can withdraw money with your CC, it however doesn't go off your Cheque but off your CC and so interest applies from day one.

For drawing money yes.... but if you include it with your normal spend "swipe" then surely it has the normal XX days interest free applied? No?
Anyone know how long it takes for a YuppieChef voucher to get emailed to you after placing the order on ebucks shop?
Yes, same as my previous ones, but my first YC voucher and it gets emailed, nothing since order at 5pm. Gmail account used for reliability, spam box checked. Not sure if it is the same as Makro or Le Crueset vouchers but mine is usually sms'ed to me within 10min of purchase.

I barely ever withdraw money, but when I do, I use my CC.
And it's amounts like R10 for parking.

Cool, thank youI ordered on a friday and it was mailed on the monday. It's not automated.
Checkout the parking machine.. I've found a surprising amount of machines actually use credit cards for payments that i did not notice until recently.. from Centurion Mall to Sandton City.. it goes in the same slot as the ticket. (yes i nearly thought it would swallow it once or twice and then i realised its just a feature not many noticed albeit there are visa/mastercard signs and the machine says cc accepted)
on my EBUCKS every month in case I lose my RL 5. Now I'm not sure which vouchers I used. Anyone know if they can give me the balance on the virtual number if I call the number they give?Usually at Menlyn that doesn't have that function for some odd reason =/
